In 2008 the new SEAT Ibiza Ecomotive, with emissions of just 98g CO2/km, was listed as the WORLD'S MOST ECOLOGICAL CAR by the Bild Zeitung, underlining our brand's firm commitment to the environment. Another recognition for the new SEAT Ibiza came in the form of THE GOLDEN STEERING WHEEL. Winning in the small car category, the new SEAT Ibiza was voted best for design, comfort and handling. What's more, the new SEAT Ibiza has been rated as one of the safest cars on the market, earning it a coveted five star Euro NCAP rating.

Every year, Germany's vehicle certification body DE KRA publishes a survey based on 15 million vehicle tests carried out over the last two years. In the latest survey the SEAT Altea and Altea XL were ranked first in the MPV category 50,000 - 100,000 km. And finally, after a dramatic season, SEAT was crowned WINNER OF THE WORLD TOURING CAR
CHAMPIONSHIP, winning both the Manufacturers' and Drivers' championships with the race version of the SEAT Leon and proving that we really are doing amazing things with diesel.
